The grievance of the petitioner relates to the Bank not allowing the petitioner to operate the bank account of the petitioner.
According to learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner has been made aware of a loan taken by her husband. It is submitted that the petitioner is also willing to settle the outstanding amount of the loan through installments. The petitioner's present source of income is the family pension which the petitioner is received.
Learned counsel appearing for the Bank submits that the Bank is willing to settle the dispute with the
petitioner with the help of the loan documents which are in possession of the Bank and is willing to allow the petitioner to operate the bank account. The Bank further offers the petitioner to give equal installments to settle the outstanding amount.
After hearing learned counsel, W.P.A.15181 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the respondent no.4 to meet the petitioner and her son within two weeks from date and sought out the dispute. The petitioner shall be informed of the easy installments by the Bank to be put in having due regard to the present income of the petitioner. The petitioner shall thereafter be permitted to operate her bank account. The entire process should be completed within an outer time limit of three weeks from date.
