This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Court's Act, 1971 as well as Article 215 of the Constitution of India filed by the petitioners on 18th September 2003 seeking punishment of the alleged contemnors / respondents for violation of the order dated 05th May 2003 passed by this Court in W.P. 5571 (W) of 2003. Since the filing of the application, none appeared for the petitioners to press the application.

I feel that the petitioners are no longer interested to proceed with the contempt application on hand. Accordingly, the contempt application is dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioners.

Let this contempt application along with the order passed today be tagged with the main file by the concerned department.
