The petitioner seeks issuance of a death certificate in favour of his great-grand father who expired sometime in the year 1952.
There is no document annexed to the writ petition wherein there is evidence of death of the great-grand father of the petitioner.
The petitioner is unable to produce any medical certificate, death certificate issued by the medical practitioner, the cremation certificate or any other relevant piece of information to ascertain the date and place of death of his great-grand father.
In the absence of the bare details, it is not possible for the Court to pass any order for issuance of a regular death certificate.
In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant writ petition.
The writ petition, accordingly, fails and is hereby dismissed.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
