Considering the serious nature of allegations that the petitioner is involved in the running of a chit fund, that there may be numerous victims like the present de-facto complainant and the fact that investigation is going on, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
