1. After hearing the parties, the application, being CAN 4 of 2023, for addition of parties is allowed.

2. By this writ petition the petitioners allege that a water body has been illegally filled up. The newly added respondent has filed an application before the Sub-Divisional Land and Land Reforms Officer for change of character of the land from one class to another and the same has been approved by order dated 23.2.2021. The petitioner has challenged the said order before the Additional District Magistrate & District Land Reforms Officer and the matter is pending. In the light of the same this petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioners to pursue the said proceeding before the Additional

District Magistrate & District Land Reforms Officer who shall decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the order.

3. In the result, the writ petition and the connected applications are allowed.
