1. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that an altercation took place between neighbours. The principal accused was arrested and was thereafter granted bail.

Charge-sheet has been submitted.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He refers to the statement of the injury report and submits that there was a deep cut injury on the face of the victim. While the present petitioners caught hold of the victim, the principal accused hit him with a spade causing such serious injuries.

3. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the alleged roles attributed to each of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are the female

members of the family, while I am inclined to allow the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner nos. 2 (Radha Rani Mondal @ Radha Mondal) and 3 (Purnima Mandal), the application for anticipatory bail of the petitioner no. 1 is rejected.

4. In the event of arrest, the petitioner nos. 2 and 3 shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also be subject to further conditions that the said petitioners shall not threaten or intimidate witnesses.

5. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed-in-part.

6. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
