It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that their land has been utilised in connection with the ground Water Based Piped Water Supply Scheme and possession of land was taken in March, 2010. But no compensation has been paid to the petitioners till date. The petitioners submitted a representation before the concerned authority on 12th August, 2021 ventilating their grievance, but the said representation is yet to be disposed of. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the authority to consider the representation at the earliest.

Upon consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 12th August, 2021 within a period of one month from the date of communication of this order after giving

reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the petitioners, in accordance with law.

WPA 15893 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings.
