He is custody for a year. He prays for bail.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer.

We have considered the materials on record.

Methyl alcohol was recovered from the petitioner. Materials on record show petitioner had supplied methyl alcohol to the co-accused who used to sell spurious liquor and, as a result, 12 persons died.

In view of the materials on record and gravity of the offence involving death of twelve individuals, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
