By an order dated March 22, 2021 the Court disposed of the writ petition by directing the respondents to take steps for consideration of the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law.

The Executive Officer of the Panihati Municipality has communicated the order passed after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties. The said order was communicated to the petitioner by a communication dated February 16, 2022. The same is annexed at page 5 of the affidavit-of-compliance that has been filed by the alleged contemnors.

It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner that she is aggrieved by the order passed by the Executive Officer of the Panihati Municipality.

The petitioner will be at liberty to challenge the same before the appropriate forum in accordance with law, if so advised.

There is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further, as it appears that the order of the Court has been substantially complied with by the alleged contemnors.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Affidavit-of-compliance filed in Court today is taken on record.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties after completion of all legal formalities.
