It is alleged that though the University has scheduled Bengali (elective paper) examination tomorrow, the petitioner has not been allowed to participate in the said examination in terms of the order dated May 19, 2025.

Mr. Amitava Chaudhuri, learned counsel representing the University submits that the University has already complied with the order. The petitioner is continuing with the fourth semester. She

has been allowed to take part in the internal examinations as well.

It is submitted that the odd semester Bengali (elective paper) examination will be held in the month of December 2025 or January 2026, and the petitioner will be allowed to take the said examination.

In view of the submission made by the University, there is no necessity to keep this contempt application pending.

Accordingly, CPAN 1143 of 2025 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
