Mr. Kanai Lal Samanta ...for the petitioner Writ petition was filed, inter alia, challenging the order of the Chairman, West Bengal Regional School Service Commission (WR), Bankura whereby the prayer of the writ petitioner for appointment of compassionate ground was spurned.
Mr.
Kanai Lal Samanta, learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ petition the concerned authority of the West Bengal Regional School Service Commission (WR), Bankura, by issuing recommendation memo dated 6th July, 2018 recommended the name of the petitioner for appointment in the post of Group-D (peon) in a Junior High School and subsequently the appointment of the petitioner in the said school was approved by the concerned District Inspector of Schools (SE), Purba Medinipur vide memo dated 26th August, 2019.
All these subsequent facts relating to appointment of the petitioner in the post of Group-D in a Junior High School have been brought on record by filing supplementary affidavit which is taken on record today.
In view of appointment of the petitioner on the recommendation of the School Service Commission no further order need be passed on this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
