The petitioner made an application for transfer on 5th May, 2025 addressed to the Chairman, Paschim Medinipur District Primary School Council.

The petitioner by making application prayed for transfer from one primary school to another primary school in the same district i.e. Paschim Medinipur. It is also submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that the petitioner completed more than five years of approved service as primary teacher. Therefore, prays for consideration of the transfer application of the petitioner.

Respondent is represented by learned advocate. The Chairman, Paschim Medinipur District Primary School Council being respondent no.3 is directed to take decision on the transfer application of the petitioner dated 5th May, 2025 in accordance with

law by six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The decision that is to be taken by the respondent no.3 shall be communicated to the petitioner by ten days thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

However, it is made clear that suspension of Utsashree portal shall not be a ground for rejecting the transfer application of the petitioner.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
