Respondent The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that inspite of informing the Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur as well as the Inspector-in-charge of Panskura Police Station particularly with regard to the private respondent no.2, no steps have been taken. The further prayer of the petitioner is for taking action against two rooms being occupied by the respondents.

Since right, title, interest and possession cannot be interfered with by

the police authorities without appropriate directions from a civil court, I am of the view that the police authorities would act after final determination of rights by the civil court. The police authorities would only oversee that no breach of peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14876 of 2025 is disposed of.
