Mr. Asit Kumar Bhattacharya, Ms. Mousumi Biswas ...for the petitioner Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

The Baguiati Police Station has submitted a report dated February 28, 2023, which is taken on record.

It is explained that the O.C. could not come to Court due to law and order duties.

It appears from the record that the private respondent has kept a large number of pets in her residence both stray and bred dogs. She has allowed the said dogs to roam freely in the common areas of the building.

This Court directs the Inspector-in-Charge, Baguiati Police Station to depute a constable to explain to the private respondent Ms. Payel Gupta, being respondent no. 6 to keep her dogs inside her

house and not allow them to roam in the common area of the building. The dogs shall be taken out once in the morning and evening, respectively. In the event of any violation of the aforesaid order, the Baguiati Police Station shall take steps in accordance with law including coercive measures against Ms. Payel Gupta.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The personal appearance of O.C., Baguihati P.S. is dispensed with.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
