The petitioner has filed this application under section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 seeking quashing of the proceeding of G.R. Case no. 1079/2018 arising out of Jorabagan Police Station case no. 80 dated 02.08.2018 under sections 467/468/469/471/120B/307/506/34 of the IPC, pending before the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Calcutta.

In spite of filing this application in the year 2018, nobody appears on behalf of either of the parties on call. Even on earlier occasion no one represented the petitioners, no accommodation sought for. It indicates that the petitioners are no more interested in the instant case. Accordingly, CRR 2182 of 2018 is dismissed for default.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
