Reliance has been placed on a communication made under the Right to Information Act, 2005 whereby the petitioner has been informed that her name exists in the priority list at serial no.84 of the minority category. The copy of the permanent waiting list in respect of the minority category showing serial no. 84 was annexed with the reply made under the Right to Information Act.
A representation has been filed by the petitioner seeking benefit in terms of the aforesaid scheme. The said representation is pending consideration.
As it appears that the representation filed by the petitioner is pending at the end of the District Magistrate, Bankura, accordingly, the District Judge,
Bankura is directed to consider the representation filed by the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order. The District Magistrate, Bankura shall pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the petitioner.
Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation received in the office of the District Magistrate, Bankura on 4th April, 2023 along with the reply under the Right to Information Act, 2005 and the priority list to the District Magistrate, Bankura at the time of communicating the order of the court.
Writ petitioner is disposed of.
Leave is granted to the learned advocate on record of the petitioner to amend the description of the petitioner and the respondent no. 2 in the cause title of the writ petition.
Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously, on compliance of usual legal formalities.
