15.07.2022 sdas rejected C.R.M.(NDPS) 790 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Tamluk Police Station Case No. 1091 of 2021 dated 29.12.2021 under Sections 20/22(c )/29 of the NDPS Act.

And In Re : Sk. Akram Ali .... petitioner Mr. Amal Krishna Samanta ....for the petitioner Mr. Antarikhya Basu ...... for the State Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner as driver of the vehicle which was used for transportation of narcotic substance i.e. 28kgs. of Ganja and in view of statutory restrictions under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
