Perused the report forwarded by the Mathurapur Police Station signed on 3rd July, 2024. It appears that in compliance of the direction passed by this Court, the petitioner has been put back to his residence. The petitioner submits that the police did not take any step against the person who destroyed his property.

The police are directed to take necessary steps pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 13th June, 2024, annexed at page 23 of the writ petition.

The police shall ensure that peace is maintained in the locale and no harm is caused to the life and property of the petitioner.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
