Hossain Ms. Priyanka Mondal ... for the petitioners Mr. Arijit Ganguly Ms. Debjani Sahu ... for the State The petitioners have been implicated in connection with Dhaniakhali Police Station Case No.158 of 2017 wherein charge-sheet was submitted under Sections 468/471/420/34 IPC.

Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that they are unnecessarily harassed since 2017. They had been attending the court and till date only one witness has been examined.

In view of the prayer so advanced, a copy of the revisional application be handed over to Ms. Sahu, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, and is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

I have considered the period of pendency of the present case and on an appreciation of the orders so passed, I am of the opinion that the anxiety expressed by the petitioners are justified.

Accordingly, the trial court is directed to fix at least one date in connection with the present case on each and every 60 days so that trial of the case could be concluded within a reasonable period of time.

No unnecessary adjournment should be granted to either of the parties.

All material, exhibits and documents may be placed on the date so fixed for evidence. Efforts must be taken by all the stakeholders so that trial is concluded at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2473 of 2022 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
