Mr. Sukumar Ghosh Ms. Moumita Ghosh ... for the Petitioner(s) Mr. Suman Sengupta Ms. A. P. Moulick ... for the State-respondent(s) The petitioner submits that she inherited a property where she has been resisted to cultivate at the behest of the private respondents.

To that effect, information has been submitted before the police authorities.

The police authorities on receipt of such representation have drawn up a proceeding under Section 126/135 of the BNSS.

So far as the right, title, interest, possession of the property is concerned, the learned civil Court would adjudicate

same. The police authorities are not empowered to enter into the said domain.

Having regard to the nature of the dispute complained of, the petitioner will, if so advised, approach the jurisdictional civil court for appropriate remedies.

In the meantime, the police authorities would only oversee that no breach of peace and/or tranquility takes place as also no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 14860 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
