In Re.: CAN 1 of 2022 Sufficient grounds are available to explain the absence of the writ petitioner on 25th November, 2022. The order dated 25th November, 2022 is recalled. The writ petition is hence restored to its original file and number.

Accordingly, CAN 1 of 2022 is allowed.

In Re.: WPA 16033 of 2021 The petitioner seeks quashing of a charge sheet No. 260/18 dated 23rd July, 2018 filed by the Baguiati Police Station.

The petitioner complains that the investigating officer has ignored to the CCTV footage. The remedy of the petitioner against the charge sheet is under Section 173(8) of the CrPC. This Court is not inclined to consider the prayer for transfer of investigation at this stage.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
