Leave is given to the learned lawyer for the petitioner to correct the cause title of the application.

We have heard the learned lawyer representing the petitioner Mr. Das as well as Mr. Bapuli, learned lawyer representing the State.

On perusal of case diary, we find that the injury is grave and serious and the present petitioner is the principal accused against whom incriminating materials are rife connecting him to the alleged offence. Chargesheet has been filed and the present petitioner has been absconding. At this stage, therefore, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion and the anticipatory bail stands rejected.

Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. No.6534 of 2021 is dismissed.
