The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order of expeditious disposal of the matter.

It appears that the charge has been framed on September 01, 2023 and evidence of charge sheeted witness no. 1 is still in progress. There are 12 charge sheeted witnesses in all. In view of the above, this Court directs the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas to dispose of the matter within 18 months from the next date of hearing fixed before him, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either party, in accordance with law. CRR No. 2538 of 2024 is disposed of accordingly. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
