Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner was falsely implicated.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the investigation is at the nascent stage. The petitioner is one of the person involved. There are huge amount of public money involved. Persons who were deceased and illiterate persons were shown as beneficiaries of public money as the behest of the petitioner.

Considering the nature of allegations and the post held by the petitioner and the prima facie complicity of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected and the application being CRM 6539 of 2021 is disposed of. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Ananda Kumar Mukherjee, J.)
