The petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 14th May, 2024. By the said order, the DPSC, Paschim Medinipur rejected the petitioner's request for transfer on the ground of distance, considering the fact that there are 30 students in the school with only one teacher.

Counsel for the petitioner would argue that there is also a para-teacher in the school. The same is not mentioned in the impugned order.

The petitioner was represented before the Chairman, through her husband.

This Court is of the view that it is very difficult for a single teacher to manage 30 students in a school.

In those circumstances, this Court does not find any infirmity in the impugned order. Hence, the writ petition fails and hereby dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
