It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the opposite party as well as her learned advocate, have been duly served.

This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court, Chandernagore, Hooghly to dispose of Matrimonial Suit No. 111 of 2023 expeditiously.

The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that August 21, 2025 has been fixed for reconciliation.

In the event the reconciliation fails, the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track Court, Chandernagore, Hooghly is requested to take up the

hearing of the Matrimonial Suit No. 111 of 2023, after the same is made ready for hearing. The learned Judge shall also make an endeavour to dispose of the matrimonial suit as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties provided, the petitioner/husband is not a defaulter in making payment of maintenance or alimony.

With the above observations and directions, CO 2188 of 2024 stands disposed of.
