1. Mr. Rupak Ghosh, learned counsel appears for the petitioner.

2. Mr. Md. Galib, learned senior counsel appears for the State.

3. Heard.

4. During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the parties reached to a consensus.

5. Learned Government counsel apprised the court by placing a report dated July 28, 2025 that a demarcation process has already started pursuant to the complaint of petitioner dated February 11, 2025 (annexure p-5).

6. It is agreed that time limit may be fixed for completing the entire process and in the event, the authorities, prima facie, find that any person interested is coming within the demarcation area, the said parties may be

heard and a final decision may be taken within stipulated time.

7. In view of consensus arrived at, this PIL is disposed of with the following directions;

(i) The respondent no.18 shall comply with the demarcation process by putting the interested parties to notice in accordance with law within 60 days from the date of this order is placed before him.

(ii) If during the demarcation process or otherwise, any interested persons' right are going to be affected, it shall be lawful for the State authority to give opportunity of hearing to the said persons.

(iii) Thereafter, only a final decision be taken by the authority within days mentioned hereinabove.

8. With the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petition stands disposed of.
