Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that considering the period of detention and the fact that police submitted charge sheet, prayer for bail should be considered.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statements recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code as well as Section 164 thereof. He also refers to the Postmortem Report. Considering the fact that the petitioner is named in the statements recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code and considering the complicity of the petitioner in the incident and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. CRM 6542 of 2021 is dismissed.
