Mr Pravas Bhattacharya ... for the State Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there is a long standing dispute between the petitioner and the de facto complainant who are brothers.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor draws the attention of the Court to the injury report. He submits that the petitioner not only assaulted the de facto complainant but also sent five anti-social persons in drunken condition to assault the de facto complainant and to demand gold ornaments from the wife of the de facto complainant.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials in the case diary and the involvement of the

petitioner, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 6550 of 2021 is dismissed.
