28.07.2025 Sl. No.55 Ct. 28 NB C.R.M. (A) 2330 of 2025 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 corresponding to Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Kultali P.S. Case No.809 of 2024 dated 30.10.2024 under Sections 126(2)/79/75/77/64(2)(m)/308(2)/351(3)/3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

And In the matter of : Bidhan Das ... petitioner Mr. Pronojit Roy, Mr. Ashutosh Mondal.

...for the petitioner.

Ms. Zarine N. Khan, Ms. Pallavi Priyadarshee.

...for the State.

Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

No one appears on behalf of the de facto complainant. Heard the learned counsels for the petitioner and the State. Perused the case diary.

Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statement of the victim and other witnesses and seizure of the offending video clip, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M. (A) 2330 of 2025 is, thus, rejected.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities.
