For the State The grievance of the petitioners is that pursuant to an order of the District Land and Land Reforms Officer, the petitioners submitted a representation before the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer for correction of record of rights, which is still pending.

The petitioners pray for a direction upon the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer to consider the representation, which is pending since 2015, at the earliest.

It is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that as the matter pertains to West Bengal Land Reforms Act, this Court has

no jurisdiction to entertain the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners intends to withdraw the writ petition and seeks liberty to take appropriate steps before the appropriate Forum.

In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.

Liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the appropriate Forum for redressal of their grievance.

The appropriate Forum is requested to deal with the matter as expeditiously as possible.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
