The petitioners complain of illegal and unauthorized construction on Plot No. 413, J.L. No. 16, Mouza-Jyangra, P.S.-Baguiati, P.O.-Aswininagar, District-North 24 Parganas under the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation.

Allegation is that construction has been made by the Corporation in an unauthorized manner over the private land of the petitioners.

Learned advocates representing the Corporation and the State respondents submit, upon instruction that, the plot in question is sought to be acquired for the use of the Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation. The Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation is running a primary health care center at the said plot. Communications made by and between the North 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad and the Bidhannagar Municipal

Corporation has been produced in Court in support of the submission that steps for acquisition have been initiated and the proceeding will be concluded soon. As it appears that the State is inclined to acquire the plot in question, accordingly, the State is directed to conclude the acquisition proceeding in accordance with law at the earliest but positively within a period of four months from the date of communication of this order. The communications made by and between North 24 Parganas Zilla Parishad and Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation produced in Court be retained the records. The Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation is directed to intimate the petitioners the steps taken for acquiring the plot in question.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
