It is also submitted that investigation is complete.

Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that the petitioner had struck the victim with a sharp cutting weapon with intention to kill her. We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses and medical papers prima facie show that the petitioner had struck the victim on the neck with a sharp cutting weapon.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating materials, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
