The police authorities have initiated Bhatar Police Station Case No. 273 of 2022 dated July 21, 2022 under Sections 420/406/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code. It also appears that a notce was issued under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to the petitioner. Available witnesses were examined. Their statements were recorded. FIR named accused persons were issued notices under Section 41A of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The respondent no.5 was arrested.

The specimen signature has been sent to the Questioned Documents Department, C.I.D. Bhabani Bhavan for expert opinion.

The investigation is in progress. It also appears that two complaints had been filed by the petitioner on the self same cause of action.

The police authorities shall take appropriate steps under the law, to complete the investigation in a free, fair and impartial manner.

This writ petition is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
