No. 4722 of 2012 arising out of Dum Dum Police Station Case No. 745 dated November 8, 2012 under Sections379/380/418/420/447/466/468/469/471/1 20B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/ complainant has placed the order under challenge before this Court, wherein the learned Magistrate has directed the petitioner herein to make an application before the Criminal Copying Department to obtain certified copies of the documents which are public records.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that they need to inspect the records and then only they can take a decision as to which documents are necessary.

As the revision is being disposed of.

Mr. Bitasok Banerjee, an empanelled lawyer of the State of West Bengal being led by the learned Public Prosecutor are appointed to represent the State in the present case.

Let their appointments be regularized by the appropriate authority.

On hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the materials on record, the revisional application is disposed of with the direction that this Court finds no irregularity in the order under challenge and directs the petitioner to act as per the order of the learned Magistrate dated 02.05.2025.

It is further directed that in case the petitioner wants to inspect the case diary they may do so through the learned Public Prosecutor.

The revisional application stands disposed of. Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
