By this writ petition styled as a public interest litigation, the writ petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to install a high capacity transformer with electric connection at Acharyya Para, Ward No.15 under Panskura Municipality by the respondents/company.

The learned advocate appearing for the respondents/company on instruction submitted that after the representation was received, inspection was conducted by the authorities on all the premises and it was found that there is no low voltage problem.

Nevertheless, the authorities have taken steps for installing another transformer and the same will be energized within six weeks.

Since the representation is still pending, while directing the authorities to proceed further for energizing the new transformer, the representation dated 5th June, 2023 shall be disposed of by passing a speaking order and communicate the same to the writ petitioner about the steps taken by the respondents.

This direction be complied with within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of server copy of this order.

With the above direction, writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
