1. The revisional application has been preferred praying for expeditious disposal of G.R. Case No. 551 of 2012 (State of West Bengal -vs- Shibnath @ Shivnath Chandra & Ors.) arising out of Kalyani Police Station Case No. 167 of 2012, under Sections 420/468/471/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Section 7 ( b ) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 which is presently pending in the file of the Court of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kalyani, District-Nadia.

2. It appears that the proceeding in the present case was initiated in the year 2012.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that till date the trial has not commenced . No

witnesses have been examined and the petitioner is being prejudiced.

4. As the revision is being disposed of, Ms. Puspita Saha present in Court, an empanelled lawyer of the State of West Bengal being led by the learned Public Prosecutor to be appointed in the present case to represent the State. Let their appointment be regularized by the appropriate authority.

5. Considering that the proceedings arises out of a case dated 27th April, 2012, the revisional application is disposed of directing the trial Court to make all endeavour to dispose of the G.R. Case No. 551 of 2012 preferably within a period of one year from the date of this order.

6. The criminal revision is accordingly disposed of.

7. Parties to act on the server copy of this order.
