The petitioner claims higher pay scale for having higher qualification. The petitioner joined service as Assistant Teacher in a pass category scale post. The petitioner, with the permission of the Birlapur Vidyalaya, undertook the postgraduate course and obtained the M.P.Ed. degree in 2007. Prior permission of the District Inspector of Schools was not taken for the purpose of undergoing the aforesaid course. Admittedly, the petitioner joined in a pass category post. The District Inspector of Schools has not found any special benefit accruing to the state or the school by the petitioner's acquiring the higher degree. In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

Hence, the writ petition shall stand disposed of without any order.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
