1. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be taken on record.

2. The petitioner is working as an Assistant Teacher of Political Science in a Secondary School of Mayapur Thakur Bhakti Vinode Institute, Nabadwip in the District of Nadia. She seeks transfer to a School nearby her residence at Nimta in North 24 Parganas on the ground of distance.

3. In the above circumstances, the petitioner shall be entitled to make a fresh representation for transfer. Upon receipt of the same, the School Service Commission as well as the District Inspector of Schools (SE) Nadia shall take a decision in terms of the existing Rules, offline and take steps in accordance with law.

4. In the event the petitioner found eligible by the School and the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Nadia for transfer, the same may be forwarded to the Chairman, Central School Service Commission for appropriate action.

5. A reasoned order shall be passed by the School and the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Nadia.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
