The petitioner has challenged the recruitment process initiated by an advertisement bearing no.01/23 for the post of Scientist/Sr. Scientist in CSIR-Central Glass & Ceramic Research Institute. It appears that the post for which the recruitment process has been initiated is a civil post under the Union and as such, the petitioner has to approach the jurisdictional Administrative Tribunal constituted under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. The writ petition is, therefor, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh on self-same cause before the appropriate forum, if otherwise entitled to in law.

The days spent between 21st June, 2024 that is the date of filing of the writ petition and today (24.07.2024) shall be construed to have been spent in prosecuting a case in a bona fide manner before a court without having jurisdiction.
