Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for more than 2 years and prays for bail.

Opposing the prayer, learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has 22 criminal antecedents to his credit. Out of 5 witnesses 3 witnesses have been examined so far.

Considering the nature and gravity of the offence, antecedents of the petitioner and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage. The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
