The electricity connection of the petitioner has been disconnected upon an inspection being conducted and illegalities being detected.

A Provisional Assessment Bill was issued in August 2023.

According to the petitioner, Final Assessment Order has not been passed.

Learned advocate representing CESC Limited submits, upon instruction that, the Final Assessment Order was passed in September 2023 and duly communicated to the petitioner.

Learned advocate for the petitioner asserts that copy of the Final Assessment Order was not received by the petitioner.

Be that as it may, let a copy of the Final Assessment Order be handed over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. The same has already been handed over in Court today.

It will be open for the petitioner to approach the appellate forum for relief in accordance with law.

8. The writ petition stands disposed of.

9. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
