1) Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.
2) Matter relates to release of retiral dues including pension due to superannuation of the petitioner on 28th February, 2025 from the post of Headmaster of Birlapur Vidyalaya, South 24 Parganas.
3) Learned advocate representing State respondents has filed a communication vide memo dated 20th August, 2025 of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas and same is taken on record. From the said communication dated 20th August, 2025 it appears that initially on submission of pension papers certain objections were raised by the concerned Joint Director of Accounts. School authority as well as District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas
being respondent no. 5 took steps to comply with these objections and thereafter pension file was placed before the concerned Joint Director of Accounts and it was found in order. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing State respondents today on instruction that on 20th August, 2025 pension file was forwarded to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance being respondent no. 2 for taking necessary steps.
4) Since by curing defects pension case was already submitted before respondent no. 2 on 20th August, 2025, respondent 2 is directed to issue Pension Payment Order by three weeks from the date of communication of this order on compliance of necessary formalities. State respondents are directed to release retiral dues including pension at an early date but not later than eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
5) Writ petition stands dispose of.
6) There shall be no order as to costs.
7) Urgent photostat certified copy of this order if applied for be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
