1. In this contempt application, an order was passed on July 9, 2024, directing the respondent/contemnor to comply with the direction issued in the earlier order in MAT 714 of 2021.

2. Learned advocate for the alleged contemnor has produced copy of a banker's cheque issued in favour of the employee dated 18.07.2024 for a sum of Rs.2,75,000/-, which has been received by the contempt applicant, Tanmoy Mitra.

The said communication is kept on record and the contempt petition stands disposed of.

3. Learned advocate for the appellant submitted that he has got a specific instruction from the appellant to

withdraw this appeal as the appellant does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.

4. The said submission is placed on record and the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
