The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 15th May, 2008, passed by the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas. The prayer for higher pay scale is pursuant to the petitioner having acquired the Post Graduate, Degree has been rejected.

Admittedly, the petitioner was appointed in a Pass Graduate Post.

In that view of the matter, the requirement of prior permission of the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas and the Control of Expenditure Act, 2005 would stand in the way of the petitioner making any such prayer.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the writ petitioner.

The instant writ petition shall stand dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
