1. The petitioner prays for regularization of his service as Muslim Marriage Registrar (MMR). He was engaged in the year 2017.

2. The engagement of the petitioner is from the date he assumed charge in the office until further orders. No order has been passed till date interfering with the service provided by the petitioner as MMR.

3. The prayer of the petitioner for regularization of the service till he attains 68 years of age in line with the engagement made in respect of one Tahamina Khatun on January 8, 2024 cannot be allowed in the facts and circumstances of the instant case.

4. The petitioner has not been able to produce any provision of law relying on which his prayer for regularization till he attains 68 years of age can be allowed.

5. In view of the above, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

6. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed.

7. All parties are to act on the server copy of this

order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

8. Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
