The petitioners by the present application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is praying a direction upon the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal for expeditious disposal of a proceeding before the said Tribunal being O.A. No. 398 of 2019 (LRTT).

The Division Bench of this Court only has the jurisdiction to pass such direction.

C.O. 1779 of 2021 is dismissed as not maintainable without any order as to costs.

This order, however, will not prevent the petitioners to apply for the similar relief before the appropriate Bench. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
