We heard the learned Advocate General.

We place on record our displeasure with regard to the conduct of the department in disbursing family pension.

With the supplementary report, a Standard Operating Procedure for disbursement of pension is placed on record. It is expected that department adheres to the timelines under the Standard Operating Procedure strictly.

At the invitation of the learned Advocate General, we request the State to circulate, amongst all departments, the Standard Operating Procedure

as proposed in this matter for disbursement of pensionary benefits to the employees of the State. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, his client received the benefits.

In such circumstances, WP.ST 78 of 2021 alongwith connected application are disposed of without any order as to costs.
