1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. Considering the materials available in the case diary and the statement of the daughter of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C which does not mention the name of the petitioner and having regard to the fact that the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence, we are of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not necessary.

3. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner namely, Anjan Ghosh @ Anjan Kumar Ghosh shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and also to comply with the conditions as laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once in a fortnight or as and when called for till the submission of the final report and on further condition that the Signed By :

petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of concerned Police Station without the leave of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arambagh, Hooghly and the petitioner shall appear before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arambagh, Hooghly within two weeks from date in connection with G.R Case No. 1029 of 2024. In the event of noncompliance of any of the conditions, the anticipatory bail shall stand automatically cancelled without any further reference to this Court.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is allowed and the same is accordingly disposed of.
