1. By this application, the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of Money Execution Case No.02 of 2020 along with an application under Order 21 Rule 48 of the Code of Civil procedure, which are pending before the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), 2nd Court at Barasat, District - North 24 Parganas.

2. Considering the submissions, this Court is of the view that the prayer of the petitioner is innocuous. Neither party stands to lose if a proceeding is disposed of expeditiously. In fact, such expeditious disposal shall enure to the benefit of the parties.

3. Under such circumstances, the revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned court to dispose of the execution case along with the pending application, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed.

4. This court has neither expressed any opinion on the merits of the application, or on the merits of the execution case. The learned court shall proceed independently and in accordance with law.

5. The revisional application is accordingly disposed of.

6. There shall be no order as to costs.
